The Roswell Women

The Roswell Women is the haunting Civil War story of four hundred and fifty women and children–all mill workers in Roswell, Georgia–who were arrested by General Sherman , given nine days’ food rations, loaded in boxcars, and shipped north, never to be heard from again. This is their story, seen through the eyes of four women who banded together for survival.
